The 18 hole course, which is located on the inland side of the main coastal road at Km. 150, just one mile from Estepona town centre, was designed by Jose Luis Lopez and first opened in 1989.
The design uses the natural landscape, which is set against the Sierra Bermeja mountain range, enjoys sea views from most parts of the course. The fairways are wide and the greens large which provides a challenge for players of all levels but doesn't penalise the average golfer.
Playing the front nine you'll have the pleasure to play the longest hole in Spain. The third hole, a par 5 called the Ski Run, which measures 568 metres from the white tees. There are many palms, eucalyptus and wild olive trees on the course, and players have a great opportunity to enjoy many rare species of wildlife, particularly on the back nine.
Players who are unaccustomed to the warmer temperatures and terrain are always welcome to rent one of 40 new Club Cars, alternatively trolleys are available for hire.
Facilities:
Pro Shop, Snack Bar, Summer BBQ, Bar, Driving Range, Putting Green, Lessons; Rental Clubs, Trolleys & Buggies.
Directions:
Heading towards Algeciras, there is a turnoff to the right at kilometre 150 of the coastal highway, just past Estepona. The golf course is about 2 kilometres from here.
